Welcome to FlourishEd Tutoring! I’m Darby, your dedicated tutor on this exciting learning journey. With a passion for education and over 10 years of experience in teaching and tutoring, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a personalized approach to help you succeed.

My journey into tutoring began when my sister faced challenges with ADHD during her early school years. Witnessing her struggles ignited my desire to make a positive impact on students’s lives, guiding them through obstacles and empowering them to achieve their academic goals. My sister is now a junior in college and consistently earns A’s, but she still calls me to help with math and science!

As a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Earth and Space Exploration (Geological Sciences), I have a strong background in math, chemistry, physics, and geology. Whether you’re in elementary school, high school, college, or an adult learner, I’m here to support you in mastering these subjects and preparing for exams like the GED, ACT, or SAT.

My teaching philosophy is centered around patient guidance, personalized attention, and fostering a love for learning. I believe in creating a comfortable and engaging environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, explore concepts deeply, and build confidence in their abilities.
